Big day today, we’ve released the 2010 home schedule complete with game times (click here to see). Some thoughts, first on dates:

• Friday, April 16th, Opening Night, raise the banner, 7:05
• Weekday 11:05 am games: 5/5, 5/26, 6/30, 7/12…7/12 is a Monday
• May 9th and June 20th are both 1:05 games, Mother’s Day and Father’s Day
• Home games at 7:05 into the 4th of July (1st thru 3rd), but away on the 4th itself
• Charleston (Yankees): 5/3 – 5/6 and 7/20 – 7/23…Savannah (Mets): 5/7 – 5/10

Some thoughts on opponents:

• Two visits from the Yankees (Charleston, in May and July) and one from the Mets (Savannah, in May) representatives in the South Atlantic League, which will be fun. Lakewood played both this year but on the road.
• Nine different opponents will be in town this year.
• Not Augusta’s first visit since the 2006 SAL Championship Series, they were here in 2008.
• No affiliate changes in this league this year.

And on the daily promotions:

• 12 Fireworks Fridays



• 12 Thirsty Thursdays (news on this coming)
• 9 Senior Day Tuesdays (Seniors Eat Free, Baseball Bingo)
• 8 Sundays and 10 Mondays (Kids Eat Free Sunday and Monday in 2010). Sundays are also Kids Character Sundays and Kids Run the Bases after every Sunday home game as well.
