Thanks to everyone for coming out and bidding in our Mother’s Day pink jersey auction, benefitting Susan G. Komen For the Cure after Sunday’s game. Overall, $8,700 was raised for the cause, including a whopping $3,600 on Jim Murphy’s jersey in an exhilerating back-and-forth from Sue Maher of Howell and Jackie Murphy, mother of Jim, who had flown in from Seattle, Washington.

Mrs. Murphy, who lost the bid for her son’s jersey, bought Jeremy Hamilton’s for $200 so Jeremy can give it to his mother back in Cincinnati.
