Bruce Tribute to Kalas

Twenty-five years ago, before a Springsteen show in Philly as part of the Born in the USA tour, Rob Charry, then an overnight disc-jockey, asked Harry Kalas to record a home run call of Bruce Springsteen hitting a grand slam off of Clarence Clemons.

Wednesday, at Springsteen’s last ever show at the Spectrum, Springsteen played that clip right before Thunder Road, as a tribute to the legendary Phils broadcaster who passed away two weeks ago.
