Congrats to BlueClaws CF Anthony Gose who led all of Minor League Baseball with 76 stolen bases this year. Gose led nearly wire-to-wire, and held off a fast-closing Dee Gordon of Great Lakes (Dodgers, A-) to win the overall title, a goal that he set for himself this spring.

The 76 steals are of course a BlueClaws franchise record, set by Gose on August 4th. He passed Chris Roberson on august 4th.

Gose was a South Atlantic League Post-Season All-Star this year, and was voted Most Exciting Prospect by the league’s managers in a Baseball America survey earlier this year.

The BlueClaws stole, as a team, 210 bases this year, the most of any team in all of Minor League Baseball.
