The Delmarva Shorebirds will come to FirstEnergy Park on Monday for a three-game series in two days. This series will go a long way towards determining the first half champion in the South Atlantic League Northern Division.

Nail Biters: The “Cardiac Claws” received their nickname from all the close wins and comeback victories. The BlueClaws are 26-13 in games decided by two runs or less. The BlueClaws have won five times when trailing going into their final at-bats.

How do they do it?: The BlueClaws hold the best record in the league despite not being near the top of the league in batting average and ERA. The BlueClaws are hitting .250 this season, good enough for 9th in the league. The BlueClaws team ERA is also 9th at 3.62. The BlueClaws are also fourth from the bottom with just 26 home runs.
