Mets/Yankees week…Four with the Mets affiliate here and then four with the Yankees affiliate in Charleston Friday-Monday.

5:03: It is hot. 95 degrees. Dusty Wathan said he feels right at home. He grew up in Kansas City and currently lives in Charlotte.

7:20: 2-0…RBI double for Travis d’Arnaud and an RBI single for Troy Hanzawa…rest below…enjoy.

7:38: Three hits tonight…that’s one more than Saturday…2-0 to the bottom 2nd.

7:56: d’Arnaud’s 5th stolen base of the season…still 2-0 to the home 3rd…Way looks sharp like he did the other day.

8:05: 3 Ks in the 3rd, all swinging for Matt Way.

8:13: 3-0…Gose a FC RBI groundout…and then gets immediately picked off. Villegas got it going with a leadoff double.

8:25: Still 3-0 to the bottom of the 5th…8 Ks for Way, two hits.

8:35: now 9 Ks for Way, who’s set aside 10 in a row…3-0 to the 6th.

9:04: If that’s all for Way, 7 shutout, 3 hits, he pitched a gem…his streak of 15 in a row set aside was broken up in the 7th, but a great outing nonetheless.

9:13: Ellis in for the 8th…still 3-0.

9:33: Now 4-0…Gose an infield RBI single to score Myers…Ellis stays in.

9:52: 4-0 final…Way was brilliant, 7 IP, 3 H, 0 R, 11 K, 0 BB…Right Way to start the trip.
