LWD: RHP Justin De Fratus (5-5, 3.48)
HAG: RHP Marcos Frias (7-4, 3.21)

All-Star Matchup…Both of these pitchers were SAL All-Stars this season…De Fratus made it as a reliever after going 2-0, 1.58 in the pen during the first half.

In the Park…The BlueClaws have not allowed a home run since they gave up three on July 29th at Greenville. They have only hit two in August.

5:36: Beautiful evening…should be a good game with two very good pitchers.

7:16: De Fratus puts runner on 2nd/3rd w/ 2 outs but fans Souza to end the inning.

7:39: 0-0 to the 3rd…Frias w/ 3 Ks and De Fratus has allowed four hits, but got through trouble.

8:02: The Suns make a break-through with two outs in the top of the third with an RBI-double…The BlueClaws cant match the run despite a leadoff runner in the bottom of the inning…1-0 Suns.

9:33: Sorry for lack of blogging, it’s been a crazy night…’Claws down 2-0 going to the home 8th…just three hits tonight…De Fratus allowed a run over six.

9:40: Bergh in for the 9th after getting the last of the 8th.

9:58: Final was 2-0 for Hagerstown…just 6 hits for Lakewood.
