Santo the Closer…Santo Hernandez has allowed just four earned runs in his last 41.1 innings with Lakewood, and has thrown seven shutout since returning to the BlueClaws from Clearwater.

Winning Halves…A 3-3 finish gives Lakewood their 8th straight winning half.

Here Comes West Virginia…They’re just three out, six to play, behind Kannapolis. Winner is Lakewood’s first round playoff opponent.

5:19: Just a perfect evening. Closed it out w/ three great weather days.

7:44: 0-0 top 3…Lakewood has hit into two double-plays.

8:03: After warmups in the 4th, Fabian: 23 warmup pitches, 22 game pitches.

8:23: Murphy an RBI double…1-0 Lakewood, his 2nd straight night w/ an RBI double.

10:27: Lost it 4-2…not much to see…more of note: Kannapolis won, so they’re now 4 up 5 to play. A lot more over the next few days in Delmarva.
