Game 64: BlueClaws (32-31) at Delmarva (29-33)

Note…The notes say Oliver Drake is pitching today for DEL, he will throw tomorrow.

Noles and Holes…Korey Noles makes his Lakewood debut tonight…He was 3-2, 2.34 with Williamsport and will go in the bullpen for the playoffs…he’s allowed just six ER in his last 25 innings pitched.

Off Days…For Anthony Gose, Harold Garcia, and Brian Gump.

4:48: Cloudy and overcast, but should be OK. Going on Fox Sports 1310 in the weekly spot at 5:05.

6:49: Cool and overcast, but we should be good to go…

7:17: Murphy a 2-run double after d’Arnaud doubled before him…2-0 Lakewood.

7:42: Noles looks sharp…strikes out the side in the 3rd.

8:00: Noles allows his third straight inning with a lead off runner, this time a leadoff double scores for the Shorebirds they make is 2-1.

8:11: With one out, the BlueClaws get back-to-back-to back hits, a double by Hamilton, single by Mattair and a double by Hanzawa…plating two more runs and giving Lakewood a 4-1 lead.

8:22: Noles allows a leadoff runner for a 4th straight time but works out again on some poor baserunning by the Shorebirds…4-1 top 5.

8:50: Still 4-1, Noles has been working well so far, looking for a win in his debut. Bottom 6

9:08: Three walks by the Shorebirds leads to a Lakewood run…5-1 ‘Claws bottom 7, still Noles.

9:57: Noles: 6.2 IP, 1 R, 3 H…nice outing…onto the playoff bullpen…8-2 was the final score…All but one starter had a hit and everyone reached base.
