d’Arnaud Heating Up…After a rough 26-157 stretch, Travis d’Arnaud is 13 for his last 35 and has raised his average from .188 to .214.
May Day…Third start for Trevor May who has struck out 12 in just 6.2 innings but has walked seven. He has only lasted 3 and 3.2 innings in the two starts.

11:18: 1:05 first pitch today…80s and sunny, just perfect baseball weather. Off days today for Harold Garcia and Jim Murphy.
1:15: May fans All-Star Welty to end the first with a runner on at 2nd…he did throw 20 pitches in the inning.
1:41: 1-0 Delmarva…May was a pitch away from a 1-2-3 second but gave up a bloop single, stolen base, and RBI double…onto the 3rd.
2:05: 1-1, Gose brings in D’Arby Myers…Gose has 5 hits in his last 5 at bats.
2:07: HR Tyler Kolodny…Both Delmarva runs started w/ 2 out and nobody on…2-1 in the 4th.
2:41: Brendan Akashian 3-3, so is Gose…Akashian an RBI double in the 5th, a call that Delmarva manager Orlando Gomez disputed on a fair/foul call but the press box concensus was fair…2-2 in the 6th.
2:53: Trevor May…6 IP, 5 H, 2 R, 8 K, 1 BB…Jordan Ellis on for the seventh.
3:06: A complete mess of an inning for Delmarva…Bernardo strikes out bunting, then Avery drops a poor bunt down right back to the mound…Ellis throws the go-ahead run out at home, then w/ 2nd and 3rd, Avery got picked off first to end the inning.
3:28: Jordan Ellis’ Lakewood debut did not go to plan…He gives up four in the 8th…Diekman now in…6-2 Delmarva.
3:36: Five in the inning on eight hits, all charged to Ellis…7-2 to the bottom of the 8th.
4:25: Final was 7-2…Series 2-2, see you tomorrow.
