7:48: Still 1-0, Correa worked out of two-on-none-out in the 2nd.

8:18: Correa into and out of trouble in the 4th with the help of bad KAN baserunning and a nice play by SS Troy Hanzawa…2 Ks, 2 BBs for Correa tonight.

8:45: Moose is loose…2 hits tonight for Mattair including a 2-run double…Hanzawa adds an RBI single and Lakewood finally breaks through for a 3-run 6th and a 4-0 lead.

9:03: Murph deep to center…6-0, his 9th HR of the season.

9:16: Three in on four straight hits off Correa…he’s out and Ballestas in…shame for Correa whose line will look a lot worse than he actually pitched.

9:27: One to the gut…Ballestas allows Correa’s run to score and gives up two more for good measuere…now 6-6 to the 8th…6 runs on 7 hits in the inning for Kannapolis.

9:36: Lakewood leaves a runner at 3rd (Hanzawa tripled w/ 2 outs)…BJR in for the 8th.

10:11: Zach Collier, 6 for his last 14, a 2-run single…now 9-6 to the bottom of the 9th…crazy game that Lakewood should now win.

10:22: Win is a win. BJ gets the last 6 outs, his 6th win, and Lakewood wins it 9-6. More later.
