Welcome back to Classic Park for game three of this three game series as the BlueClaws look for the sweep, after winning 11-9 and 10-3 in the first two games of the series. Lakewood tries to get over .500 for the first time this year.

6:17: Zach Collier today on the pregame show.

6:19: Lakewood is batting .397 with 21 runs in the series. They scored 10 on Opening Weekend, four games against Delmarva (1-3).

6:41: BlueClaws go quietly in the first…Knapp on the hill (10 ks on Friday).

6:51: Two runs for LCO…on a groundout and a bloop single…3 hits is as many as Knapp gave up in his last start…2-0 LCO.

7:11: Two more for LCO in the 2nd. Knapp made an error which got it started. Last run scores on a SAC fly / 7-6-4 DP where the run scored but they threw out the runner going to second. 4-0 top 3.

7:20: Lakewood gets one on a bases loaded walk but they leave three. The run came without a hit.

7:33: Anthony Gose has a “hose,” pun not intended. He just threw out Karexon Sanchez trying to go to third after he stole second and d’Arnaud threw it into center field.

7:48: Lakewood gets one back on an Anthony Gose RBI double…d’Arnaud flies out to the base of the CF wall to end the inning…Two were on…4-2 LCO to the bottom of the 4th.

8:11: Knapp now dealing, 5 Ks after two in the bottom of the 5th…still 4-2 LCO.

8:18: Not much going offensively tonight for the ‘Claws…Gose reaches second on an error but Mattair grounds out to end the inning.

8:39: Lakewood has left 10 on through 7…d’Arnaud thrown out stealing in the 7th…4-2 LCO at the 7th inning stretch.

8:52: Jimenez gets through the 7th but LAK needs two runs and they have six outs to get them…Travis Mattair by the way has walked six times in the last two games.

8:57: Lakewood goes 1-2-3 in the 8th…Rosenberg on for the bottom half…Still 4-2 LCO…Lakewood will have the top of the order in the 9th.

9:20: Game over. Lakewood loaded the bases in the 9th but Hanzawa lined out to center. The CF Webb made a diving catch to end the game. Have to pack. See you tomorrow.
