On a double-steal in the ninth inning on Tuesday Night, Anthony Gose stole his 60th base of the season, breaking the record of 59 set by Chris Roberson in 2003.

Gose began the season on a torrid pace stealing bases and continued it through the entire year. He stole his first base on Opening Night on his quest to break the record. He does so in game 106 of the season and is on pace for 79 stolen bases this year. The stolen base on Tuesday was his second in the ballgame, tying the record in the third inning with a swipe of second base. He is 60-for-77 this season stealing bases. His 60 stolen bases also rank him first in all of Minor League Baseball.
