The BlueClaws announced shortly before the 2009 season that kids 12 and under will eat for free at every game this season. That means every kid will get a free hot dog, bag of chips and soda when they come to the park, every time they come to the park. So far…….22,334 kids have taken advantage of this offer…Let’s break this down even more:

If put end to end, the 22,334 hot dogs would stretch for 2.47 miles!

The BlueClaws have given away 268,008 oz of free soda! That’s almost 2,094 gallons of soda. That’s the same as leaving your shower on for more than 11 and a half hours straight!

Finally, 22,334 bags of chips, times an average of 21 chips per bag, is 469,014 free chips! Spuds Up!
