The BlueClaws turn to Trevor May today for game three of the 2009 South Atlantic League Championship Series, just a win away from their 2nd title in team history. May, 19, has been with the BlueClaws since June and won the clincher in the Division Series with six shutout innings against Kannapolis.

Might not be able to pick a better guy to pitch this game…

• The BlueClaws are 12-4, including playoffs, in May’s starts.
• He has not lost in his last 14 starts.
• May has thrown 16 straight shutout innings.
• He’s allowed a whopping three runs in his last 31 innings (18 hits and 38 strikeouts).
