MLB.com: Pedro Bullpen Sunday in Lakewood

According to this MLB.com report, Pedro Martinez will throw a bullpen session on Sunday in Lakewood. He gave up five runs in five innings with Lehigh Valley on Friday night.

“To me, it felt great; the results might not be what everyone wanted, including me,” said Martinez. “As far as health and conditions, I feel great, and I see it as a positive take, a very positive take.”

“I definitely need more work to get to the point where I’m going to be in command of all my pitches,” he said, downplaying the idea of being moved into the Phillies bullpen to get work. “I’m not going to put any pressure on Ruben or Charlie [Manuel]. I’m an employee here, and you do what your boss tells you to do.”

Also in the game, former BlueClaw Michael Taylor homered off another, Carlos Carrasco, who started for Columbus after being traded to the Indians on Wednesday.

Update: Have absolutely no details on this right now…meaning time or anything along those lines. All I know at this point is what I read here. Will get an update up here when we find out.
