Congrats to the Reading Phillies and their several former BlueClaws on clinching a playoff spot this afternoon. For the R-Phils, it’s their first playoff trip since 2001, the longest drought among Eastern League clubs.

The clincher was a 6-0 win today over Connecticut, with three former BlueClaws (Arizona Fall League bound Mike Cisco throwing the first six, Scott Mathieson throwing the next two, and Mike Zagurski getting the last out).
