Some ugly numbers…Lakewood, after going  just 7-40 today in a 3-2 loss to Lake County, is just 86-403 (.213) over their last 12 games and 45-231 (.195) over their last seven.

In those 12 games, the BlueClaws have scored just 41 runs and the last seven games, Lakewood has put across just 21 runs.

Thought Dusty Wathan handled the situations well today, just nobody could get a big hit. Lakewood went 1-11 with runners in scoring position today and is 2-27 in the first two games against Lake County with runners in scoring position. Lakewood left a combined ten runners on base in innings 5-9 including the bases loaded in the 9th.
