Cole Hamels is heading to Philadelphia to be examined by team doctor Michael Ciccotti.

Elbow soreness.

“We just want to be cautious,” Phillies GM Ruben Amaro said. “We thought it was important that he see our doctor in Philadelphia.”

    It seems as though plenty of Phils phans are scared by this news. Let’s hope it’s all precautionary and that Colbert will be fine.
