We speculated here that former Yankee Chien-Ming Wang might be a good fit for the Phillies. But according to this tweet from Peter Abraham of the Boston Globe, he is going to Washington.

Chien-Ming Wang has decided on#Nationals. Deal close to being completed. He could be in rotation by May.

No word on money yet but as the offseason progressed and the Phillies made it clear $140 million was their limit, they were probably priced out (if they were even interested, we were just speculating).
