Baseball’s Hardest Throwing DJ

Could it be former BlueClaws RHP Trevor May? Here’s a story on May from the St Paul Pioneer Press that ran today.

“I was just playing my stuff in the weight room,” Mazr (May) said. “It got turned off in about four minutes.”

Four minutes into a one-hour mix means it didn’t take long for the audience to cry “uncle.” Undaunted, Mazr glanced around the Twins’ clubhouse.

“I’m taking it slow,” he said. “I’m approaching the Australian guys first because they love house music there. Then I’ll go from there and try to convert the others.”

May spent most of 2009 and half of 2010 with the BlueClaws, helping them win back-to-back South Atlantic League titles (he gave up 1 earned run in four playoff starts over two seasons). In December, he was sent, along with Vance Worley, to Minnesota for Ben Revere.
