Professional wrestling is coming to FirstEnergy Park! It’s the first ever Brawl at the ‘Claws, an all-day event on July 11th, which will also feature the pro wresting debut of none other than Buster, BlueClaws mascot. Details here.
The event will feature none other than Doink the Clown when he goes one on one with former 5-time ISPW World Heavyweight Champion “Mr. Main Event” Ace Darling. Enjoy Doink, and we’ll see you on July 11th.

The BlueClaws will host a special Manager’s Luncheon with Mark Parent on Saturday, July 10th from 12 noon to 1:30 pm in the BlueClaws Executive Conference Center.
Mark will speak and field questions on a variety of subjects, whether you would like to ask about his big league career, the day he caught 24 innings in 100 degree weather, members of the current BlueClaws, and more.

All proceeds benefit BlueClaws Charities.
The BlueClaws will host their annual ALS Celebrity Waiter event on Wednesday, May 26th, at 6 pm at FirstEnergy Park.
BlueClaws players will serve as the waiters and the coaching staff will be the bartenders at the event, which will be held for the 10th time.
A cocktail hour and reception, which includes a meet and greet with BlueClaws players and coaches, will be held from 6 pm - 7 pm, with a buffet dinner to follow.
All proceeds, including tips, will benefit the ALS Association of Greater Philadelphia, the principal charity of the Phillies. The first nine years have raised over $90,000 for ALS patients and their families.
This is a very important event on the BlueClaws community calendar every year, and event that raises about $10,000 per year for a charity that is very important to us and the Phillies. We hope you can join us!
Believe it or not one week from today the BlueClaws will play their 3rd home game of the season. Included in the show that day, the annual 5K race.
The BlueClaws 5K race starts in the parking lot behind FirstEnergy Park and will end right on the field.

FanFest 2010 is coming up on Saturday from noon - 5 pm. A bunch of different things will be going on, we hope you can join us, and here’s the rundown:
Basically, it’s a full day of a lot of fun here at the ballpark, and serves as our official kickoff to Opening Day, which will be 27 days later. Hope to see you there.

10. Bob Dylan Show…2005, Dylan played the first concert ever at FirstEnergy Park with Willie Nelson. They came back in 2009 with John Mellencamp.

Calling all runners: the BlueClaws will host their 5K Race at FirstEnergy Park on April 18th, in conjunction with the Jersey Shore Council of Boy Scouts, Ocean Running Club, and Jersey Shore Running Club.

Last week we asked our Twitter family for some BlueClaws bowling team names. We got some good ones, but our favorites were Alley Claws and Pinchy’s Pin Busters. Ben Hill of MiLB.com threw in a few generic bowling team names, like:

It looks like the 2010 Phillies Winter Tour stop in Lakewood will be on January 11th, a Monday night (no, not the same night as the Alabama/Texas football game).

Before you head out to the malls on December 19th, the last pre-Christmas shopping Saturday, stop by FirstEnergy Park with an unwrapped toy or non-perishable food.
It’s our annual Breakfast With Buster Holiday Food and Toy Drive. Buster and Santa will be there collecting items for the Salvation Army of Ocean County.
We’ll provide free bagels and coffee plus the chance for the kids to meet Buster and Santa, plus take some pictures too. 9 am - 11 am.
