New Contest

Monday, February 14th, 2011

This for the boy and girl scouts of the Jersey Shore. Neat concept actually. Scouts can design the patches the BlueClaws give out to scouts at the annual Scout Nights each summer.

The BlueClaws will accept submissions until March 5th, at which point voting will occur on the BlueClaws Facebook page.

Full details about the contest here. Below, find 10 years of BlueClaws scout patches.

Why You Should Vote BlueClaws

Tuesday, October 26th, 2010

champsmilbyfullAs I type this (1:30pm, Tuesday), voting is underway on for their Team of the Year MiLBY Award, the BlueClaws rank 3rd behind Great Lakes and Augusta in the Team of the Year voting among Lo-A teams.

Great Lakes had a nice year. They won 90 games, most in the minors. But they were knocked out in the second round (of three) in the Midwest League playoffs. Augusta had a nice year too. But they didn’t even make the SAL playoffs.

Vote for the BlueClaws (early and often) to support the team that:

And of course, because you love them. Go BlueClaws! That is all.

How Would You Like to Mow the Lawn at FirstEnergy Park?

Monday, May 31st, 2010

Well, sort of…The BlueClaws have partnered with Thunder 98.5 and Ace Outdoor Power Equipment for a program called Father Mows Best, through which you can win a lawn mower or other prizes.

The race winner will recieve a Husqvarna Self Propelled Walk Behind Mower, and all runner-ups will recieve a prize back courtesy of the Lakewood BlueClaws!

Enter for a chance to join the lawn mower race, which will be held between innings at the June 19th BlueClaws game. We said “sort of” above because you won’t actually get to cut the grass, but rather race lawn mowers. Should be an awesome event…

Sign up through Thunder 98.5 by clicking here.

Tuesday, October 27th, 2009

choosechampwebIt’s the first Choose Your Champ contest. As part of the first Turnpike Series, or in the case of NJ’s two affiliated Minor League Baseball teams, the 195 Series, the BlueClaws and Trenton Thunder have entered into a wager through which one lucky fan will win an all-expense paid trip to Opening Day 2010!

To enter, all you have to do is email with the following:

  • The World Series winner
  • Number of games the series lasts

We’ll take all the winners, and one will be randomly selected…Here’s the kicker…

  • If the Phillies win, the Thunder will pay for the winner’s trip to Opening Day 2010 in Philadelphia.

OK folks, we’re back for a second week. Here’s yoru chance to win Opening Day tickets.
